One of the biggest reasons I felt a tug to create the “Sharing It Forward” campaign was support and camaraderie. The biggest gift this conceptual journey has afforded me is interacting and getting to know some amazing, talented, brilliant, jaw-dropping artists. The support and confidence they have gifted me has been priceless. Show me one successful, vibrant game-changing artist and I’ll show you the successful, vibrant, game-changing group of artists surrounding them. I have learned you can’t do it alone. It is important that you don’t shut yourself off to other artists and photographers – even if those artists are in the same zip code/region. The interaction and fresh ideas bouncing back and forth are fuel and lessens artistic growing pains. I have a group of artists I communicate with daily. If I am needing information or just a shoulder to whimper on, they are the first people I go to. I can honestly say that without them I wouldn’t be here right now. They have been instrumental in my growth as an artist.
Today I want to introduce you to an artist from my artistic tribe. She was sharing her knowledge with me before I ever thought about sharing it with you. Her name is Jenna Martin. Below is some of her work and 411. Follow her blog, follow her on instagram, chat with her through Facebook, browse her portfolio… It’s lovely. And remember… Keep learning and keep #Sharing It Forward
