Where are the bloomin’ handles?
I have this problem all the time. When I drag a layer into my new document and it is HUGE and you go to transform or scale it down but the silly handles are way out of frame. So you back out, out, out looking for them… Well there is a nifty hotkey to fix this…
Click on the layer you want to transform. Hit Command+T to activate the transformation tool. The transformation tool must be activated for this to work. Now you can view the entire layer WITH handles by clicking Cmd + 0 (zero) or Ctrl + 0 on a PC… The image will back out far enough to see the handles so you can grab them!
