There has been quite a few times, after finishing a shoot and pulling the raw images into Photoshop I have regretted the style of make-up I chose for my model. After the fact I wished I had applied the make-up to my model differently. I was browsing tutorials as I usually do and I ran across a tutorial on how to apply make-up to your model in post. I don’t know why in the world I haven’t though of this before? DUH! You can do anything with Photoshop so of coarse you can apply make-up. HA! I watched some tutorials and the two tutorials linked below are the best techniques I’ve come across. Grab a cup of coffee and jump in. These tutorials are really neat. It’s like I’ve discovered a whole new world I’ve never explored before. I love it when that happens! Thank you Blue Lighting TV and Phlearn for #SharingItForward!

How to Create Realistic Eye Makeup in Photoshop – PHLEARN
There are actually a number of tutorials created by PHLEARN on this topic. I really liked this one because it covered not just the how but the why behind creating this effect.
